Like all the best things in life, Malibu Farm started small and grew organically—just like the food we like to eat and serve. Our founder, Chef Helene Henderson, began with cooking classes and farm dinners out of her home and in her backyard in Malibu, where free-range, fancy, feather-footed chickens roam alongside a pig named Arnold and pet goats who love to walk on the beach.
Helene opened a casual counter service café at the end of the Malibu Pier and a full-service restaurant and bar soon followed. More Malibu Farms sprouted in Newport Beach, Lido, and Lanai.

13 Oct, 2024Ate inside for brunch. They don’t accommodate parties or 6 outside. It was a beautiful day so that was disappointing because we had a reservation and expected to eat outside — seaport is a beautiful area after all. The inside is okay but definitely can’t match outdoor view. Food itself was excellent. The Malibu Eggs Benedict was delicious. Service was good. Overall good experience.

29 Jul, 2024Amazing vibe, gorgeous view, a delightful restaurant, serving fresh farm to kitchen goods. The restaurant primarily focuses on vegetarian dishes, lots of them on the menu. Very tasty dishes overall. Loved their chips and guacamole, cheese pasta, and Shakshuka. The later had tangy tomatoes flavor with cheese and egg dipped in the sauce. Soft fluffy pita on the side. We had a wonderful service throughout. Luckily we got a table since we walked in within an hour of opening. Gets busy later on, reservation recommended. They have a huge nice bar as well. Both indoor and outdoor seating options available, with outdoor having the beautiful Brooklyn bridge in the background.

08 Sep, 2024Malibu Farm was the perfect way to end my New York trip! Although I didn’t have a reservation, the hostess was kind enough to find us a table with a beautiful view facing the bridge. The atmosphere was super fun, the food was delicious, and the service was quick. I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you so much for a great experience!

12 Aug, 2024Love vibes, but the front restaurant's hostess management seems a bit disorganized. The food served quickly. My favorite dish is Grilled flank steak, which is consistently the best choice on the menu.

06 Oct, 2024Great views and Scandinavian modern atmosphere. Food was excellent and priced about what you'd expect for the location. Shout out to the wait staff and Manager. Had an issue with my food coming out. Waiter said of course there was no charge. Manager then personally came by to apologize and also additionally compensated without my asking. That's a class act.
