01 Dec, 2024Upon arrival the door barely could’ve opened, then when we got to the front desk a female at the desk barely even acknowledge us. She had no customer service and didn’t make you feel welcomed at all. Then in the room there was no microwave and not even a coffee maker. Then on top of that, everybody raved about the rooftop they had and we asked at 7 pm and it was closed. This is not worth the money at all, had a better time at $100 hotel. Looks x10 better online but in person it’s terrible.

21 Nov, 2024This was an excellent stay at ink 48 hotel. The staff was super friendly and extra helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious, which is hard to find in NYC and it is not in a high traffic area like Time Square. There were restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. I was traveling as a single female and felt very safe and my belongings secure. I would stay here again in the future.

02 Dec, 2024Very disappointing. Thought I was treating myself to a nice hotel but it was worse than the hotels I booked in the past that were hundreds of dollars less. On my first night after a long day of travel I was greeted by a young lady at the front desk with an awful attitude. Then there was little to no water pressure so I couldn’t even wash my face. Shower head was not working properly. Sink clogged. Phone in room not working. I was over it. They put the dimmer on my birthday experience. Would not recommend.

20 Oct, 2024Overall a good value hotel room in midtown. Staff were super friendly and helpful. However I booked this hotel for two reasons: the rooftop bar / pool area and the free bike rental. Neither of these were available during my stay. The only amenity is probably the gym which I didn’t use. If you’re not used to US homelessness you may find the area a little sketchy but over all fine.

27 Nov, 2024Front desk attendant was very brash with my dad telling us why they almost gave our reservation away because we showed up around midnight when he had already paid for the reservation. That’s our room—why does it matter when we show up. Second, there was no soap in my room so I showered with shampoo. Third, I left a ring in the room and tried to call the hotel to simply bring it down to the front desk for retrieval later. First was directed to front desk twice who first disconnected then didn’t pick up for ten minutes and disconnected. Then on my next attempt I was connected to the managers line and that rang for ten minutes and disconnected. Then I called again and the agent gave me the “personal” number for the manager. I called a few times and no one picked up. What kind of a hotel makes it impossible to contact a single staff member at the hotel? It’s literally hospitality. Nice room though.
