15 Oct, 2024For the price, it could be maintained a little better, but overall, it was clean and comfortable. We checked in at night and out early morning and both staff members were very friendly and helpful. Lots of outlets if they work. Loved that the toiletries were below my eyes since I have gotten hit in the face with shampoo. Love the amount of towel racks or hangers. There could be a 2nd handrail to get in and out of the tub. They give a treat at check-in, too.

11 Nov, 2024The hotel lobby is nice. The bar was nice as well , food & drinks were good. My hotel room was clean but needed updating. Definitely could use some paint and shower needed some attention. The first room I was given I had to call maintenance 4xs about my toilet not flushing. I was concerned that one day I would cause a flood. They finally moved me to another room. I was there for business 9/28-10/18 my hotel was about 15min away from the airport. For the most part the staff was friendly. My stay was decent since I’ve seen worst until 2 days before my departure my credit card was charged for about 8 transactions that I did not do. Which caused my card to be over the limit & I was charged overcharge fee. When I spoke to the manager they tried to tell me it was room service which I never used. Then they told me it was bar charges that I never incurred. I had $1k of my card used from transaction that were not done by me. The end result was the accountant finding out that my card was randomly being used for charges , some kind of system error smh. I was so mad because of the inconvenience & the fact that they had my credit card tied up . They didn’t even offer a meal voucher I had to ask for one. I called the corporate line and made a complaint and they told me someone would be contacting me but never did. My advise is try not to use your credit card at this hotel to avoid the issue I had. I never even put a card down for incidentals because my company was paying for it . I only used my card at the bar to pay for food & drinks. The whole situation sounds fraudulent. However, they were able to reverse my charges 4days later. The parking lot stayed crowded but we made do.

02 Dec, 2024This review is for Parking reservation through Way.com. As advertised in Way app, there are no signs for Way customer parking. You will need to take a parking ticket at the gate then park and then go inside to fill a form at the front desk. Front desk ladies were not very friendly. They will give you a slip plus ticket and tell you to not put it on dashboard but what they skip telling you is that while coming back you need to go to P4 to take the shuttle and they do not have a direct number to reach out. I had to figure it out myself. During checkout again the ladies at front desk were not very friendly - they all need to be trained.

09 Oct, 2024The location of the hotel is decent - though it felt a bit isolated with limited dining options nearby, it is conveniently close to the airport and just 15 minutes by taxi from the Newark PATH train station. The PATH offers a direct connection to the World Trade Center station in New York, taking approximately 40 minutes. The hotel has a restaurant with great staff working there - approachable and friendly. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and very tasty. I personally recommend the Buffalo chicken wings and the Boom Boom shrimp. The check-in process was a bit problematic. Although I checked in at the reception desk, there seemed to be an issue, as my reservation didn’t appear in the hotel’s system when I tried to charge a restaurant bill to my room. There is an option to check in using the Hilton app, but I didn’t try it this time - something I’ll consider for the future. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. However, when I booked the room, I selected the “New York City skyline view” option, and while I did have a view of the sky, it was more of Newark than New York. Additionally, much of the view was on railway tracks. My expectations were a bit different. Overall, the stay was good, and I plan to return here in the future.

19 Oct, 2024Overall my stay was great! The room was clean and service desk reps were very polite. The only issue I had was the parking situation. The parking lot was waaay over crowded. There were cars parked everywhere and not just in parking spots, this left very little room in some areas making it very tight or not possible to get through in an average size car. Two out of the three nights I stayed I had to leave and come back hoping to find somewhere to park.
